WELCOME TO INVER HILL FARMS, FLORIDA
The traditions of Inver Hill Farms come from the verdant rolling hills of Inver Parish, County Donegal, Ireland. Inver Hill Farms is located in Morriston, FL (Northwest of Ocala) among the bucolic rolling hills of Central Florida where cattle graze and farmers till their land in the distance. In addition to the expansive fields to ride and drive our Gypsy Vanner Horses, there are also picturesque wooded trails throughout our 200 acres. Family owned and operated by Pam and Wayne Coulter with a dedication to raising the highest quality of Gypsy Vanner Horses that are bred and trained to achieve the beauty and gentleness that their European ancestors have known for generations.
All of our Gypsy Vanner Horses are registered with the Gypsy Vanner Horse society, (GVHS), a registry created in 1996. The Gypsy Vanner horses have been selectively bred over many years by British and Irish gypsies to develop a horse with a strong body, incrediblle endurance, a docile and friendly demeanor and a willingness to perform many disciplines. This is not a color breed, but rather can be found in many colors. They are stocky, have long flowing manes and tails and an abundance of massive feathers on their legs. Terms such as "magnificently unique", "magical" and "mystical" have been used to describe these beautiful and gentle horses who quickly bond with those who care for them.
